When these former clients of mine sought a serene getaway to escape to from Los Angeles, they found the perfect place in this charming beach house right on the sand. Working closely with them, we transformed the home to exude the peace and calm of living near the shoreline. Starting with a soft, neutral palette that invites relaxation, every piece of furniture, from the sofas, to the ottoman, the one-of-a-kind blue chairs, and the nightstands were custom-designed to add both comfort and style.

To elevate this beach retreat, I added a bar with custom cabinetry and a hand-selected countertop in the downstairs “hang-out” space. Additionally, custom rugs and window treatments enhance the home's personalized feel. The final touch came from one of the owners, a talented photographer, whose work adorns the living room, capturing both their style and the beauty of the ocean just outside. This retreat now embodies a calm, welcoming escape — a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the waves.
